Overloaded Schedules

Why

Do you have a hectic schedule? Create a humorous picture showing how you sometimes feel about your overloaded days!

Steps

1. Does your busy schedule seem overwhelming some days? On white paper, use your imagination to draw a cartoon-like picture that shows your impressions of your overloaded schedule—and what you’d like to do differently.

2. Outline your picture with Crayola® Erasable Colored Pencils. If you change your mind, just erase! Don’t you wish it were this easy to take some events off your busy calendar?

3. Color your cartoon with Crayola Twistables. Crayola Markers are great for making bold accents and headlines.

4. Maybe you’re ready now to talk with an adult about getting some time to relax!

Safety Guidelines

Adult supervision is required for any arts & crafts project. Observe children closely and intervene as necessary to prevent potential safety problems and ensure appropriate use of arts and crafts materials. Some craft items, particularly beads and buttons, are potential choking hazards for young children. Avoid use of such small parts with children younger than 3 years. Craft items such as scissors, push pins and chenille sticks may have sharp points or edges. Avoid use of materials with sharp points by children younger than 4 years. Read all manufacturers' safety warnings before using arts and craft supplies.
