Retro-delic Designs

Why

Psychedelic designs from the 1960s are back—and they’re BIG! Create vibrant retro designs with Crayola® Twistables®.

Steps

1. Anything goes with a psychedelic design. Use Crayola Erasable Colored Pencils to sketch your ideas. Use swirls, circles, graduated lines, bubble letters, waves, and other cool effects to make your design flow over the entire paper. It’s easy to erase if you change your mind!

2. Color your designs with Crayola Twistables®. Press firmly for bright colors. When you finish coloring, gently rub a paper towel over your picture to bring out a nice gloss.

3. If you wish, trace over your outlines with a black Crayola Fine Line Marker.

Safety Guidelines

Adult supervision is required for any arts & crafts project. Observe children closely and intervene as necessary to prevent potential safety problems and ensure appropriate use of arts and crafts materials. Some craft items, particularly beads and buttons, are potential choking hazards for young children. Avoid use of such small parts with children younger than 3 years. Craft items such as scissors, push pins and chenille sticks may have sharp points or edges. Avoid use of materials with sharp points by children younger than 4 years. Read all manufacturers' safety warnings before using arts and craft supplies.
