Slick & Snazzy Sculpture

Why

Imagine what you can create with wood scraps! Give your sculpture a slippery-smooth finish with Crayola Slick Stix™ intense colors.

Steps

1. Create a unique sculpture! Arrange several wood scraps so you’re happy with how they look. Glue them together with Crayola School Glue. If you need to stabilize your structure, assemble it in stages or hold pieces in place with masking tape. Air-dry your creation overnight.

2. Remove masking tape. With Crayola Slick Stix, decorate your design. The bright colors go on SO smooth. To blend hues, soften the edges, or smooth color into the wood, rub with a bit of paper towel.

Safety Guidelines

Adult supervision is required for any arts & crafts project. Observe children closely and intervene as necessary to prevent potential safety problems and ensure appropriate use of arts and crafts materials. Some craft items, particularly beads and buttons, are potential choking hazards for young children. Avoid use of such small parts with children younger than 3 years. Craft items such as scissors, push pins and chenille sticks may have sharp points or edges. Avoid use of materials with sharp points by children younger than 4 years. Read all manufacturers' safety warnings before using arts and craft supplies.

Wood—By its nature, wood is rough and may contain splinters or sharp points
