Solar Flare Sidewalk Game
Have fun flipping "suns" in an outdoor game you create! Challenge each other to land a sun in each solar flare.
1. With your friends, make three or four Crayola Model Magic® sun shapes to use as markers in your game. Attach the suns’ rays with Crayola School Glue to help keep them attached when you toss them. Decorate with Glitter Glue so your suns shine! Air-dry the suns overnight.
2. Ask an adult to help you find a safe, paved, game surface outdoors. Get permission before you paint. Change into clothing and shoes that can be washed. Assemble your Crayola Sidewalk Paint Sprayer.
3. Paint several circular solar flare targets on which to throw your suns. Try mixing colors. If you wish, use a Crayola Super Brush, sidewalk paint roller, and Sidewalk Chalk to add details to your game area.
4. Stand at one end of the game and toss the suns to see if you can land them in the center of the painted flares. Agree with your friends on how you will play. How will you score? When you’re finished playing, wash away the paint with a garden hose—or keep playing until there’s a rainy day and the game washes away. Then you can design another game!

Crayola Modeling Materials including Crayola Model Magic®, and Model Magic Fusion™, Crayola Air-Dry Clay, and Crayola Dough—
- Keep away from open flames. Do not use to make candleholders, hot plates, trivets, or other similar objects that will be used or placed near fire and other heat sources.
- Do not put in an oven, microwave, or kiln.
- Do not make into vessels/containers that will hold unpackaged food.
- The use of modeling material to make items that look like food is discouraged for children younger than age 5 to avoid their confusion with real food.
- Unless sealed with a water-resistant glaze, do not make projects exposed to or immersed in water, such as boats or outdoor bird feeders. They would disintegrate when exposed to moisture.
