Star Streaks

Why

Make a wish upon a streaking star with Crayola Color Explosion™ paper and color-reveal markers

Steps

1. Lay a piece of Crayola Color Explosion Paper with the drawing side up. Using the Color Explosion™ color-reveal marker, draw a large five-pointed star in one corner.

2. Draw three streak lines from the three lower star points, in an arc, across the paper. Follow the same arc pattern for all the lines. Fill in lines between the streaks. Create interesting patterns with dots and/or lines inside the star.

3. With Crayola Scissors, cut out your Spectacular Star Streaks. Display where you can make a wish on your streaking star day after day!

Interesting Info

Francis Scott Key wrote the Star Spangled Banner, the United States’ national anthem, in 1814, just 38 years after the country won independence from England. However, the tune is a traditional British tune!
