Sunglasses, Fun Glasses!

Why

Create a picture with colors so bright, you have to wear shades! Neon Color Explosion® Paper and Markers turn plain sunglasses into colorful fun glasses!

Steps

1. Draw a pair of sunglasses in the center of Crayola Neon Color Explosion Paper with Neon Color Explosion Markers. Are your glasses fun or funky? Are they for you—or for a friend? Express your style!

2. Create designs to accent your shades. Use lines, dashes, and dots. Add some squiggles and swirls. Use different marker tips and color combinations to tap into your creativity!

Safety Guidelines

Adult supervision is required for any arts & crafts project. Observe children closely and intervene as necessary to prevent potential safety problems and ensure appropriate use of arts and crafts materials. Some craft items, particularly beads and buttons, are potential choking hazards for young children. Avoid use of such small parts with children younger than 3 years. Craft items such as scissors, push pins and chenille sticks may have sharp points or edges. Avoid use of materials with sharp points by children younger than 4 years. Read all manufacturers' safety warnings before using arts and craft supplies.

Interesting Info

The earliest “sunglasses” were actually glass lenses tinted with smoke. The Chinese used them in the 1400s to hide their eye expressions in court.
