Sweetheart Flag

Why

Have a special message for your sweetheart? Create a flag of hearts filled with words of love.

Steps

1. Remember those candy hearts with messages on them for Valentine's Day? Make your own loving messages on these paper hearts that can be sent any day of the year!

2. Cover your work area with recycled newspaper. Paint five sheets of construction paper in different colors using Crayola® Washable Kid's Paint and Paint Brushes. Dry.

3. On your painted papers, draw at least five hearts in various sizes with Crayola Erasable Colored Pencils. Cut them out with Crayola Scissors. Overlap the hearts to form a flag. Joint them together with Crayola School Glue. Dry.

4. Write messages of love on the hearts with Crayola Glitter Glue. Dry.

5. Outline words with colored pencils if you like. Glue your flag to a dowel stick.
