Swirly Neon Keep-It-Cup

Why

These little cups are great for storing all your loose change, showing off dried flowers, or keeping art supplies in colorful spot!

Steps

1. Choose a color of Crayola neon Model Magic® Fusion™ modeling compound. Roll a piece about the length of your cup. Flatten it a little with your hands. Fold one end over the lip of the cup to keep it in place. Use your fingers to mold the Fusion into a zigzag or swirly pattern all the way down to the bottom of the cup.

2. Repeat at least twice, alternating different colors of neon Fusion compound. Vary color combinations and widths to get an exciting look!

3. Air-dry your Swirly Neon Keep-It Cup before using. Model Magic® Fusion dries to the touch overnight and dries completely in 2 to 3 days.

However, they are produced on the same machinery as Crayola Dough which does contain gluten. Although the machines are cleaned prior to the start of each production run, there is a slight possibility that trace amounts of gluten from Crayola Dough may be present in the other modeling compound products. For information regarding specific ingredients or allergic concerns, please call our Consumer Affairs department at 1-800-272-9652 weekdays between 9 AM and 4 PM Eastern Standard Time.

Recycled Containers—Must be clean and safe. Do not use containers that contained bleach or other harmful chemicals (for example, household cleaners, dishwasher or laundry detergents). Do not use recycled metal cans that have sharp edges (for example, lids removed by household can openers).

Interesting Info

The word "neon" comes from the Greek word "neos," meaning "The New Gas." Old neon signs were created using neon or argon gas in a vacuum tube. When a high-voltage electrical current is passed through the gas, the tubes emit light. Although neon gas was originally used in these signs, several other gases are also used today. These gases, along with different tints and phosphor coatings for the glass tubes, produce a spectrum of more than 50 brilliant colors.
