Take a Trip to India's Charminar

Why

The Charminar is an impressive gateway in Hyderabad, India. Capture the beauty of this famous landmark that's known as the Arc de Triomphe of the East.

Steps

1. Research Hyderabad, the capital of the state of Andhra Pradesh, India. Learn about its people, cultures, architecture, and famous landmarks including the Charminar. Look at photos of the Charminar and details of its four towering minarets. Note how it is similar to, and different from, similar landmarks, such as the Arc de Triomphe in Paris.

2. Using Crayola® Colored Pencils, sketch a picture of Charminar. Color in the drawing using Crayola Crayons and Crayola Multicultural Crayons. Add people dressed in culturally authentic clothing if you wish.

3. Mount your drawing on colored construction paper with Crayola Glue Sticks for display.
