Kids dress up the table and have food for thought with these beautiful harvest centerpieces. When the weather turns chilly, warm things up with some fall art.
1.
Form a flat base out of Model Magic® for your harvest centerpiece. You might use a Native American motif.
2.
Form Model Magic into natural shapes found during the fall harvest season, such as pine cones, acorns, and corn husks.
3.
Using plastic dinnerware, or craft stick, etch designs and textures into these shapes.
4.
When the Model Magic is dry, cover your work area with recycled newspaper. Paint your centerpiece in realistic or imaginative colors using Crayola Washable Kid's Paint and Brushes.
5.
Optional: Mix a glaze of equal parts Crayola School Glue and water. Brush over your harvest centerpiece for a pottery-like effect.
