Hunt no more for the perfect Easter egg project! The irresistibly beautiful crayon resist work on these eggs make them an egg-cellent choice for Easter decorating.

  • 1.

    Draw egg-shaped ovals on watercolor paper with Crayola® Erasable Colored Pencils. Cut out your eggs with Crayola Scissors.

    Decorate both sides of the eggs in vibrant colors and designs with Crayola Metallic Crayons.

  • 3.

    Spread newspaper over your work area. Paint one side of the eggs with Crayola Watercolor Paints and Paint Brushes. Notice how the paint resists the crayon markings and colors only the white areas of the egg. Dry. Paint the other side of each egg. Dry.

    Cut drinking straws to different heights and tape eggs to straws.

  • 5.

    Form an attractive centerpiece base with Crayola Model Magic. Arrange straws with eggs attached in this base. Add Easter grass and other seasonal decorations to your centerpiece if you wish.
