Kiss-a-Frog Finger Puppets craft

Frogs! Princesses! Knights! Horses! Favorite fairy tales come to life with these easy, charming finger puppets. Put on a puppet show with friends!

  • 1.

    Create characters. With Crayola® Markers, color pictures people and animals on paper plates. They can be from a favorite book, country, fairy tale, or your imagination! Use Crayola Multicultural Markers for skin colors, animal fur, and other accents. Carefully tear out your figures.

  • 2.

    Add hair or fur. Attach precut yarn as hair or fur with Crayola School Glue. To curl strips of paper (for an animal’s tail or hair) roll paper around a marker and then uncurl. It will spring to life.

  • 3.

    Attach finger loops. Tear paper plate strips. Form loops to fit around one or two fingers. Glue the ends together. Glue loops to the backs of your puppets. Air-dry the glue.

  • 4.

    The rest of the fun is up to your fingers, friends, and imagination! You could build sets with castles, costumes, musical instruments, or whatever you need to tell your stories.
