Make an awesome 3-D sign highlighting your name, a friend’s name, or posters with words that POP!
Choose at least three colors of paper for your color scheme. Decide which color you want for the letters in your name. This will be your "see-through" color.
Choose another color for your foreground. On that color, use Crayola Colored Pencils to write your name. Use large letters and leave extra space between each letter. Make each letter in a separate section if you like. For long names or words, attach two or more pages with a Crayola Glue Stick to make a banner.
Use the Crayola Scissors to cut around all of the letters you drew. For letters with inside shapes such as "a" be sure to cut them out and use the pieces to add even more dimension.
Glue your letter cutouts to the "see-through" color to make a nameplate. For extra shadows and dimension, glue small pieces of scrap cardboard between layers. Trim around the inside shapes of letters such as "a" and insert them in their spots, too. Let dr
Make a frame for your nameplate with a different paper color. Glue your "see-through" paper to that paper. Let dry.
Trim a border or other interior designs in the frame. Cut designs with "see-through" spaces from other paper colors to add more layers of interest. Glue pieces in place. Let dry.
Hang your bright 3-D name sign in your room or on your locker. Make more signs for all your family and friends!
