Pixels! On computers and digital photos you don’t want to see them. With this lots-of-dots project, you create them---with Crayola Gel Markers. Stand back!
1.
Pixels are fun! You need plenty of them to make cool designs. Outline a simple object on grid paper with Crayola Erasable Colored Pencils. We chose a fish, but you can draw whatever you like.
2.
Imagine the object’s lines, colors, and shapes. Place a dot of color from a Crayola Gel Marker in each square. Large areas have lots of dots the same color, while other sections will be single rows of colored dots.
3.
Erase any extra pencil marks. Then stand back! Your drawing will look like a pixilated version of the original. If you like, cut it out with Crayola Scissors and mount it on black paper for a striking effect.
