Penguins are cool, even on hot summer days! You're off on an imaginary trip to the Southern Hemisphere when you create these regal black and white birds.
1.
What is your favorite penguin species? The smallest, Fairy Penguins, who live in Australia? Or big ones, such as the Emperor and King penguins, who are found in Antarctica? Choose one or two species that you like best, and then sculpt several.
2.
Use white Crayola® Model Magic® to form each penguin. Look at pictures to see how the penguin's body is shaped.
3.
To make your penguin's dark markings and eyes, mix color from a black Crayola Washable Marker into Model Magic. Knead and add color until the model magic is dark. Press pieces onto the penguin while the Model Magic is still damp. Air dry overnight.
4.
For more fun, make a pretend snowy sea or playground for your penguins.
