Have a Presto Dots monster truck show with vehicles you create and build yourself with old toys, Crayola® Model Magic® Presto Dots™, and your custom designs.
Ask an adult to help you find an old toy truck or car that you can transform into a Presto Dots™ monster truck.
Pat blue Model Magic smooth and flat. Spread it over the entire toy truck body (not on the wheels). Lift it and pinch it closed until the entire shape is covered.
Form the bumper and windshield. ? Roll a thick red snake. Use Crayola Scissors or a plastic knife to cut it to fit across the front of the truck. Press in place. ? Flatten a piece of yellow Model Magic. Cut into a windshield shape. Press in place.
Now have some fun with the Presto Dots Dot Tool! Roll out a flat, even layer of blue Model Magic. Push the Dot Tool straight down to the bottom of the layer. Then give the tool a twist, tilt it back and pull it out.
Press the bottom of the Dot Tool on the blue Model Magic layer and pull the tool away to release the dot. Presto! The dot should come right out and stick to the surface.
Repeat the Dot Tool steps, pressing blue dots over the body of the car (not on the bumper or the windshield).
Add Presto Dot eyes, headlights, and star. ? EYES: Roll out a flat, even layer of purple. ? Push the Dot Tool (with the dot insert in place) down to the bottom of the layer, lift and press onto the windshield to make one eye. Repeat. ? HEADLIGHTS: Rol
Make flame boosters. ? Knead together a bit of blue and a bit of white Model Magic modeling compound until it is marbled. Press flat. Use scissors or a plastic knife to cut rounded triangle booster shapes, one for each side of the truck. ? Knead togethe
Add any other custom designs you like. Let dry.
