Turn plain paper plates into puppets with personality. Bring them to life with yarn hair and your imagination!
1.
Make a face! Using Crayola® Multicultural Crayons, draw a face on the center of a small paper plate. Add eyes, nose, mouth, eyebrows, and/or freckles with Crayola Crayons. Use your imagination to make facial expressions such as happy, sad, surprised, or angry.
2.
Create a hair style. Use latch-hook rug yarn or ask an adult to cut yarn for hair. Arrange yarn in any style and attach it to your puppet with Crayola School Glue. Glue or tie on hair ribbons if you wish. Air-dry the glue.
3.
Add finishing touches. To give each puppet’s face a shape, tear away any extra paper plate. Glue a craft stick to the back of the puppet for a handle. Air-dry the glue before you put on your first show.
