Turn ordinary stones into sculptures that rock! When the designs wash away, create new decorations.
With an adult, find rocks that might be fun to decorate. Look for interesting shapes, flat sides, gigantic boulders, or whatever you have in mind. Be creative! Just make sure you have permission to paint the rocks.
Clean the rocks with a garden hose. Dry them in the sun.
With the paint roller and/or brush that come with your Crayola Sidewalk Paint Tray, decorate the rocks. Follow the lines of the rock, make silly characters, or whatever strikes your fancy on stone! Air-dry the paint.
Add details to your rocks with Crayola Sidewalk Chalk. See what interesting effects you can create!
Stack your stones into a sculpture or place them around a flowerbed, for example. The colors will wash away in the rain—or you can hose them off and decorate another Rockin’ Rock Sculpture!
Let's make something!
Turn your favorite thing into a backpack pal! Make one for yourself and give one to a friend.
