Tic-Tac-Toe is such a simple game that all the rules fit in the ditty "Tic-Tac-Toe, Three in a row." Here’s how to make an outdoor game grid to use with your friends as real-life players.
Ask an adult to help you find a safe, large outdoor area for your game. Outline a big Tic-Tac-Toe box with your Chalk ’n Roll. Cross the box twice, going up and down, and then two more times going across the box. You’ll have nine boxes inside the border.
Choose who goes first. Draw Xs and Os (or any two symbols you like) with the sidewalk chalk. Players alternate filling in a box to try to get three marks in a row. When you finish, draw another grid for the next game!
