Striking Pendant & Earrings
-
Pick the colors of Crayola Neon Color Explosion® Paper that coordinate this spectacular jewelry with your wardrobe or to make as a gift.
-
For earrings or pendants, start by cutting cool, interesting paper shapes (star, swiggly, oval, diamond) with Crayola Scissors. Make two identical shapes for earrings.
-
Design both sides of the paper with Crayola Neon Color Explosion Markers.
-
If you like, cut other tiny pieces to glue on in layers on your pendants or earrings. Design them with the Neon Color Explosion Markers, too.
-
To create curly embellishments, cut squares or rectangles into thin strips, leaving one end uncut. Glue that end to each earring or your pendant. Air-dry the glue.
-
Wrap each strip around a cotton swab and then release to reveal the curled paper. For other looks, try accordion folds, quilled paper, and other techniques!
-
To make looped earrings like those shown here, cut decorated Neon Color Explosion Paper squares or rectangles into narrow strips, leaving a tiny bit at each end uncut. Glue the ends together to form a hoop. Air-dry the glue.
-
Poke a hole in the top of the pendant to attach a jump ring. Add ribbon to make a necklace. Use jewelry wire to attach to earring backings.
-
If you want sparkly jewelry, embellish your pendants and earrings with Crayola Glitter Glue. Air-dry the glue.

When you wear this jewelry, you will be a walking piece of art!
