Draw children’s attention to fine details in illustrations in children’s books.

Before doing this activity, children need many experiences in stamping and drawing designs, and in visually distinguishing similarities and differences.

With Crayola® Write Start® Colored Pencils, draw 12 circles (to fit the bottom of muffin-tin cups) on construction paper.
5.
Use Crayola® MiniStampers to make a pair of circles with the same design. Make 5 more pairs, each with different designs. Make pairs exactly the same.
6.
Decorate circles with Crayola® Glitter Glue. Dry overnight.
7.
Cut out the circles with Crayola® Scissors.
8.
Place one set of circles in the bottom of a muffin tin. Match the patterns on the remaining circles to those in the tins.
