Located in eastern Pennsylvania along the New Jersey border, the Lehigh Valley region is home to the three cities of Allentown, Bethlehem and Easton. It is the third largest metro region in the state and has over a half-million residents. Visitors to the region will find no shortage of activities to keep them busy on an overnight or weekend trip.
Popular attractions include the rides and waves at Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom in Allentown, a behind-the-scenes factory tour at the C.F. Martin Guitar Co. in Nazareth, hands-on science learning at the Da Vinci Science Center in Allentown and furry creatures of all shapes and sizes at the Lehigh Valley Zoo in Schnecksville.
The Lehigh Valley is also well known for its many festivals including Mayfair in Allentown over Memorial Day weekend, Musikfest in downtown Bethlehem, a 10-day festival of the arts and music in early-August, and Celtic Classic, a celebration of Irish culture, also in downtown Bethlehem in late-September. Outdoor activities include skiing, snow tubing and snow boarding at two mountains in the winter, and hiking, biking and fishing along the Delaware and Lehigh Rivers in the summer.

National Canal Museum
Admission to Two Rivers Landing includes the National Canal Museum and The Crayola FACTORY®. Interactive exhibits encourage everyone to explore the past. Don’t miss the miniature train display and the interactive water table. Kids of all ages will enjoy this experience.
Canal Boat Ride (May – September)
Located a few miles from Two Rivers Landing in Hugh Moore Park. Take a 30 minute mule-drawn canal boat ride on the Josiah White II, with costumed interpreters describing life on the canal. Christkindlmarkt
A European-style holiday market with food, arts and crafts, ice sculpting and live holiday entertainment. Thursdays – Sundays from November 24 – December 17.
