- With an adult, choose a large, outdoor paved area that is clean, safe, and free from traffic.
- Use your Chalk ‘n Roll to draw two wide end zones. Make them a good throwing distance away from each other, based on the children’s skill levels.
- Draw a "bench" area where players who are "out" can wait safely.

- Choose two players to be throwers, one to stand in each end zone. The remaining players stand at one end zone next to a thrower.
- Throwers begin to toss the ball back and forth to each other. One at a time, players attempt to run to the opposite end zone.
- Throwers try to tag the runner out by throwing the ball to hit the runner from the waist down. Players who are out sit on the bench.
- Play continues with safe runners running back the other way. The last two safe runners become the new throwers.

- When you finish playing, cool down with fun outdoor crafts like these.
