Drawing Scribbles
Young children scribble. That is developmentally appropriate and they way they develop into the next stages of artistic development. Think about it from a Child's Point of View:

When I draw scribbles:
- I see my motions make a lasting mark.
- I gain a sense of color, shape, size, space and motion.
- I build eye-hand coordination.
- I play with my imagination.
- I experiment with different kinds of drawing tools, speeds, surfaces and techniques.
- I learn about myself.
- I'm building towards the next stage of artistic development.
- Do we have a scribble to add?
