The Power of Paint
When I paint, instead of thinking about the mess, consider all I'm gaining from this wonderful experience:

- Paint empowers me to express my ideas.
- It is fluid, bright and covers vast areas, quickly.
- I can make radical changes in a scene with a single stroke.
- I explore scientific concepts of fluid, gravity, evaporation, color and light as the paint drips, dries, mixes, and moves.
- I explore math concepts of full/empty, more/less, volume, distance, length, quantity and size.
- I relish in the artistic experiences of exploring color, line, texture, composition, balance, shape/form, and space.
- I learn about responsibility from cleaning up with you.
- I build pride and confidence seeing my work displayed and enjoyed.
