Adult supervision is required; This project is not appropriate for children under the age of 3 years. Warning: If large quantities of contact lens solution are accidentally ingested (greater than a tablespoon), get medical attention immediately. Since the preservative system is being diluted through the addition of other ingredients, it is not recommended keeping slime containing contact solution for more than a couple days and only if it is kept refrigerated. This slime may grow visible mold or bacteria that is present but you cannot see.
