DIY Chalkboard Paint

Create your own chalkboard paint: Use our Acrylic paints to create your own colorful chalkboard canvas on wooden plaques, coasters and more!

Supplies

Acrylic Paint, 6 ct.
Multi-Colored Chalk, 12 ct.
Baking Soda
Wooden Plaque or Coasters

Instructions

  1. Add 2 tbsp of baking soda to 1 tbsp of water and mix completely to create a paste.
  2. Pour 2 oz Crayola Acrylic Paint into a bowl and combine with the baking soda mixture and stir to combine.
  3. Paint the acrylic paint and baking soda mixture onto a surface such as a wood plaque or coaster to create a chalkboard surface. Allow to dry completely.
  4. When dry, write a message with Crayola chalk and display!
