Kids mix and match different animals to make unusual kreatures. Encourage creative thinking by asking questions: What if a hippo had a bird's body? What if a camel had paws like a tiger?
1.
Trace around a large paper plate on construction paper with Crayola® Washable Markers. Trace a small plate on a separate sheet. Cut out both circles with Crayola Scissors.
2.
Divide both circles into fourths with a Crayola Metallic FX Crayon or marker. Use a ruler to make straight lines.
3.
Place the small circle in the center of the large one, and place both circles on top of the large paper plate. Poke a brass fastener through the middle, and spread it apart on the back.

Draw four different animals on plain paper with markers and crayons, or cut pictures from recycled magazines. Cut each picture in two pieces. Use Crayola Glue Sticks to attach the top half of each animal to the large circle, and the bottom half to the sma

Rotate the circles to create Kooky Kreatures.
