Make a trendy sun catcher with a jar lid and melted Crayola® Crayons!
Use the crayon sharpener from a box of 64 ct. Crayola Crayon box or a hand held pencil sharpener to make crayon shavings.
Put the crayon shavings in the desired colors on a piece of waxed paper. Lay another piece of waxed paper on top of the crayon shavings. Have an adult lightly iron over the waxed paper on the lowest heat setting.
Use the removable insert from a mason jar lid to trace a circle on top of the melted crayon waxed paper. Cut out with Crayola Scissors.
Use Crayola School Glue to glue the melted crayon waxed paper to the inside edge of the mason jar lid.
Add raffia or colored string around the mason jar lid to create a decorative hanger.
