Imagine the world shaking with volcano explosions! Think of the heat, creeping lava, and thunderous blasts. Create your own scene with dinosaurs running in terror.
Remove the top of a shoe box or similar box with Crayola® Scissors. Stand the box upright for a diorama. Lay the lid out in front of the box to enlarge the scene.
For the volcano backdrop of sky and mountains, create crayon rubbings using Crayola Twistables Crayons on white construction paper. Remove the wrapper from crayons and rub the sides on paper placed on rough surfaces. Trim the crayon rubbings to fit the sides of your box. With Crayola School Glue, attach the rubbings to your diorama.
With your LEGO® dinosaur canister as a base, build a volcano using Crayola Model Magic. Mix dark colors for the mountain and then add red, yellow, and orange Model Magic to depict molten lava streaming down the slopes. Spread apart cotton balls and place in the top of your volcano to create steam.
With Model Magic, construct cacti, trees, or other natural objects in the path of the flowing lava.
Pose your LEGO Tyrannosaurus Rex fleeing the scene in terror.
