Create It Yourself

Supplies Needed

Gather all the supplies needed to bring your craft ideas to life! ...

  • Model Magic
  • Styrofoam Ball
  • Terracotta Pot
  • Toothpick(s)

Steps

  • Step 1

    Cut styrofoam to fit the inside of your pot so that it creates a removable lid.

  • Step 2

    Shape green Model Magic to form your first cactus.

  • Step 3

    Use a toothpick to add details to your cactus and then set aside to dry.

  • Step 4

    Stick a toothpick in the base of your cactus and place into the styrofoam. Adult Supervision Required Please refer to Safety Guidelines.

  • Step 5

    Create smaller cacti using different Model Magic colors. Blend them together to create a marbled effect. Place them together in the pot to create a push pin cactus.

  • Experiment mixing and blending two or more colors or Model Magic to make a new color.

  • Model Magic that is fresh from the pack will stick to itself. Dried pieces can be glued together.
