Supplies Needed

Gather all the supplies needed to bring your craft ideas to life! ...

  • Construction Paper
  • Glue
  • Markers
  • Paint
  • Paint Brushes
  • Craft Sticks
  • Pencil(s)
  • Photo of Child

Steps

  • Step 1

    Mix paint color of choice on plate with paint brush. Cover 7 craft sticks with paint.

  • Step 2

    Cover 2 craft sticks with black paint. Let all paint steps dry 1–2 hours.

  • Step 3

    Position craft sticks next to each other horizontally, placing black craft sticks above and below remaining craft sticks.

  • Step 4

    Using craft sticks as guide, sketch and cut out cardstock crayon.

  • Step 5

    Glue craft sticks to cardstock.

  • Step 6

    Draw serpentine design on black craft sticks with markers.

  • Step 7

    Glue photo of child to craft sticks. Let all glue steps dry 1–2 hours.

  • Step 8

    Display your fun, first-day memory!
