Supplies Needed

Gather all the supplies needed to bring your craft ideas to life! ...

  • Coloured Pencils
  • Construction Paper
  • Crayons
  • Glue
  • Markers
  • Cardstock
  • Crayon Sharpener
  • Pencil(s)

Steps

  • Step 1

    Sketch and cut out 3 circles of Bright Pop Cardstock.

  • Step 2

    Glue circles to blank cardstock sheet as ant body.

  • Step 3

    Sharpen unwrapped crayons to create shavings.

  • Step 4

    Sketch a circle inside ant body circle, then divide into 3 sections.

  • Step 5

    Add glue to a section and lightly sprinkle crayon shavings on glue.

  • Step 6

    Repeat step 5 twice to complete all 3 sections.

  • Step 7

    Repeat steps 4–6 with middle ant body circle. Remove excess shavings.

  • Step 8

    Draw ant antennae, facial features, and legs with markers.

  • Step 9

    Cut out Bright Pop Cardstock shoes and glue to legs.

  • Step 10

    Cut out 2 Bright Pop Cardstock circles and glue to antennae.

  • Step 11

    Add grass with colored pencils.

  • Step 12

    Write a “brilli-ant” message with markers!
