Homeschool Families "Extending the Experience"
The Crayola FACTORY and National Canal Museum are open year–round for educational opportunities in the field of art, science and history. We’ve designated February and September as homeschool friendly months, due to lower attendance of school groups. When you’re here, ask about our "Extending the Experience" packet we created just for you. This packet includes educational and fun activities to do with your family while here and at home. Ask about a discount for Homeschool Month.
Family Workshops
Where in the World is the Gingerbread Man? He's in Europe!
Visit The Crayola FACTORY and learn about holidays celebrated in Europe through special activities. Events planned during this festival include:
Gingerbread House Workshops: November 23 and December 14. Participants will create a faux gingerbread house that will last through the holiday season. Workshop will run from 1 - 3 p.m. and space is limited. Cost is $12 per house. Call group reservations at 610-515-8000 to reserve your spot.
Breakfast with Santa: December 6, 13, 14: Enjoy breakfast with Santa and the Gingerbread Man. Each child will receive a special gift.
