I just love purply blue colors, they remind me of the sky when the light is just right. We named one of our parakeets Periwinkle because he is that color. Periwinkle is the color I always use for my eyes in crayon self-portraits. Periwinkle is a combination of light blue and light purple - I always called it "lavender blue" - and it always made me smile.
