Why

Open the door to the creative elements of architecture and decorating with this 3-D project from The Crayola® Factory™. Construct hours of fun as kids design and build.

Steps

  1. 1. With Crayola Scissors, cut construction paper to fit all around the sides of a small recycled, milk carton. Glue it on with a Crayola Glue Stick.
  2. 2. For the roof, cut white construction paper large enough for an overhang. Fold the paper in half and cut out zig-zag shapes on the bottom to resemble snow on the rooftop. Glue your roof to the house, with the fold as its peak.
  3. 3. With Crayola Washable Markers, draw a door with a wreath on the front of your house.
  4. 4. Cut out black construction paper rectangles for window frames. Glue small yellow squares on them to resemble lights in the windows. Glue them onto the house.
  5. 5. With markers, draw in bricks and accent the house and roof. Using Crayola Metallic FX Crayons, color the bricks, door, and any other decorations.
