Why
Open the door to the creative elements of architecture and decorating with this 3-D project from The Crayola® Factory™. Construct hours of fun as kids design and build.
Steps
- 1. With Crayola Scissors, cut construction paper to fit all around the sides of a small recycled, milk carton. Glue it on with a Crayola Glue Stick.
- 2. For the roof, cut white construction paper large enough for an overhang. Fold the paper in half and cut out zig-zag shapes on the bottom to resemble snow on the rooftop. Glue your roof to the house, with the fold as its peak.
- 3. With Crayola Washable Markers, draw a door with a wreath on the front of your house.
- 4. Cut out black construction paper rectangles for window frames. Glue small yellow squares on them to resemble lights in the windows. Glue them onto the house.
- 5. With markers, draw in bricks and accent the house and roof. Using Crayola Metallic FX Crayons, color the bricks, door, and any other decorations.
