Why

All children deserve the star treatment. This simple, handcrafted photo frame lets kids shine as they create and present a wonderful gift.

Steps

1. 1. To make your own picture frame, glue four craft sticks together, end to end, in a square, with Crayola® School Glue. Dry.
2. 2. With Crayola Metallic Colored Pencils draw and decorate several stars on colored construction paper. Cut out the stars with Crayola Scissors.
3. 3. Ask a grownup for a photograph that is suitable for a gift. Trim the photo just a little bit bigger than the inside of the frame. Glue the photo to the back of the frame with the picture facing out. Dry.
4. 4. Glue stars around the front of the frame and decorate with Crayola Glitter Glue. Dry before wrapping.

Interesting Info

Joseph Nicéphore Niépce of France is credited with taking the first photograph in 1826. Niépce captured the view from his window with new technology that he called heliography.

Scissors—ATTENTION: The cutting edges of scissors are sharp and care should be taken whenever cutting or handling. Blunt-tip scissors should be used only by children 4 years and older. Pointed-tip scissors should be used only by children 6 years and older.

Wood—By its nature, wood is rough and may contain splinters or sharp points
