TurnAround: Arts Initiative
The President’s Committee on the Arts and the Humanities, in cooperation with the U.S. Department of Education and the White House Domestic Policy Council, created a new public-private partnership, Turnaround Arts. This initiative is designed to narrow the achievement gap and increase student engagement through the arts. Turnaround: Arts will work in eight “turnaround schools” throughout the country.
