Family Bookmark
Educators found that a creative way to encourage families to read to children and build literacy skills at home was for teachers to print out this bookmark and distribute it. Some teachers have class lending libraries and they slip these bookmarks into the books that go home. Other teachers sent the bookmarks home in kids' backpacks.
