Our Commitment to the Community

Help Others. Foster A Giving Spirit.

Ensuring a high quality of life for our employees, their families, and the communities in which they live is extremely important to Crayola.

To ensure a positive future, Crayola Canada takes a responsible role as a good corporate citizen in the communities where our employees work and live. We play an active role in the community’s social, economic, and cultural development.  Crayola Canada leases approximately 30,000 square feet of its property in Lindsay to the United Way Haliburton Kawartha Lakes.  That space has been developed into a community garden providing fruit and vegetables to the region in support of food security - it is known as Edwin Binney’s Community Farm & Education Centre.  Crayola Canada supports charitable and non-profit organizations with a focus on the City of Kawartha Lakes area. All requests are handled through the Human Resources/Administrative Services department.
