Gather all the supplies needed to bring your craft ideas to life! ...

  • Paint
  • Clear Plastic Ornament(s)
  • Corks
  • Craft Sticks
  • Disposable Cup Holder
  • Disposable Cups
  • Funnel
  • Toothpick(s)
  • Water

Steps

  • Step 1

    Remove top of bauble and place upright in cup holder.

  • Step 2

    Pour paint into disposable cup with a small amount of water. Mix with craft stick.

  • Step 3

    Carefully pour paint through funnel into bauble.

  • Step 4

    Pick up bauble and rotate to coat the sides.

  • Step 5

    Repeat Steps 2–4 with different paint colours to create marbleised effects.

  • Step 6

    Set bauble upside down in cup to allow excess paint to drip out. Dry overnight.

  • Step 7

    Create the basket of the hot air balloon by sticking 4 toothpicks firmly into cork.

  • Step 8

    Replace top of the bauble. Place ornament upside-down on top of the toothpick base.

  • Step 9

    Place hot air balloon in front of a window to create a sun-catching effect!
