Supplies Needed

Gather all the supplies needed to bring your craft ideas to life! ...

  • Construction Paper
  • Glue
  • Paint
  • Paint Brushes
  • Pencil(s)
  • Popsicle Sticks
  • Wiggle Eyes

Steps

  • Step 1

    Cover 5–7 ice lolly sticks with paint. Dry 1–2 hours. Add second coat. Dry 1–2 hours.

  • Step 2

    Line up painted ice lolly sticks side by side. Glue unpainted ice lolly stick across the middle to hold sticks together and create base for monster arms.

  • Step 3

    Let glue dry 15–30 minutes, then flip sticks over.

  • Step 4

    Sketch and cut out construction paper mouth.

  • Step 5

    Draw teeth in mouth with markers. Glue to ice lolly sticks.

  • Step 6

    Sketch and cut out cardstock body parts such as arms, horns, and tail. Glue to ice lolly sticks.

  • Step 7

    Glue wiggle eyes to ice lolly sticks. Let all glue steps dry 1–2 hours.

  • Step 8

    Create more creatures for a monster mash!
