Supplies Needed

Gather all the supplies needed to bring your craft ideas to life! ...

  • Watercolours
  • Cardstock
  • Craft Sticks
  • Ice Cube Tray
  • Warm Water

Steps

  • Step 1

    Place watercolour tablet in 60ml warm water and mix with craft stick to dissolve.

  • Step 2

    Pour mixture into ice cube tray.

  • Step 3

    Repeat steps 1–2 for as many colours as you'd like.

  • Step 4

    With the help of an adult, cut craft stick in half.

  • Step 5

    Place craft stick cut-side-down into cube section.

  • Step 6

    Repeat steps 4–5 until each cube has a craft stick.

  • Step 7

    Freeze tray 5–6 hours. When cubes are frozen, gently remove from ice cube tray.

  • Step 8

    Use frozen paint cubes like paint brushes on card to create colourful patterns and pictures.
