Champion Creatively Alive Children: A Shared Commitment to Every Learner

CCAC Grant Program

Creativity can transform the way we teach and the way students learn. Apply today for a grant to fund an innovative, creative leadership professional development program within your elementary/middle school. Schools from the United States or Canada will receive grants to implement and share results of a program that will build creative capacity and collaborative culture school-wide.

Each grant-winning school (up to 20 grants awarded) receives $2,500 and Crayola products valued at $1,000. See below for more information.

Champion Creatively Alive Children

  • The Champion Creatively Alive Children® grant program provides grants to elementary and middle schools for innovative, creative leadership team building. Winning applications receive grants of $2,500 and Crayola products valued at $1,000. Grants are awarded to help build schools' creative capacity, and up to 20 awards are made each year.

  • Each October, in partnership with the National Association of Elementary School Principals (NAESP), Crayola publishes a resource-rich supplement full of inspiring success stories, practical instructional strategies for integrating art across the curriculum, and more.   • Take advantage of free professional development resources! Our Champion Creatively Alive Children series will help you implement art-infused education in your school. Research has shown that art-infused education helps children acquire critical 21st century skills: creativity, critical thinking, collaboration and communication. The available resources cover: Art Builds 21st Century Skills, Creativity Connects Us, Advocacy, and Creative Leadership workshops and videos and guides. Along with a supplemental introductory leadership guide, there are also ready-to-use materials to help you facilitate workshops and art-infused education advocacy meetings—everything you need from PowerPoint presentations to flyers, handouts and evaluation forms. These resources will help transform your school culture, and infuse arts across your curriculum.
