Regular Crayons on Formica and Metal

Spray the stained area with All Purpose cleaner and wipe with paper towels.  If stain persists, dampen a sponge with warm water and liquid dish soap to work the area in a circular motion.  Rinse with water.  Repeat as needed.

ALTERNATIVE SUGGESTION:  Mr. Clean Magic Eraser can be used per the manufacturer's direction.

    Soft Scrub Mild Abrasive Cleanser

    Add liquid dish soap to water. Wash the stain in a circular motion using a soft cloth or sponge and rinse. If stain remains, repeat the procedure. Fresh marks are most easily removed. Residual stains on white walls and more durable surfaces may be removed with Soft Scrub, toothpaste or a mild abrasive cleanser. Apply cleanser with a soft cloth or sponge. Work the stain for several minutes. Rinse with water. Repeat if necessary.

    All Purpose Cleaner Windex or Formula 409
    Mr Clean Magic Eraser

    Zep Cleaner All Purpose Citrus Cleaner Available at Home Depot

    Use according to the directions on the container. Repeat as necessary until stain is removed.
  • Cleaning Materials
    Dull Knife or Metal Spoon
    Liquid Dish Soap
    Small Stiff Bristle Brush
    Sponge
    Warm Water

    Scrape excess crayon off with a dull-edge knife or metal spoon. Spray or dampen with warm water and apply liquid dish soap on the stained area, work in with the brush and wipe stain away with a damp sponge. If stain remains, repeat the procedure.
  • Cleaning Materials
    Cotton Balls
    Dull Knife or Metal Spoon
    Liquid Dish Soap
    Rubbing Alcohol
    Sponge

    Allow Model Magic compound to dry overnight. Scrape off excess Model Magic compound with a dull-edge knife or metal spoon. Add liquid dish detergent to water. Wash the stain away with the soapy water and sponge and rinse. If any stain remains, saturate a cotton ball with rubbing alcohol, blot the stain and rinse.
