Washable Dry Erase Markers on Chalkboard - Slate or Green

Wipe all stains with a  damp sponge.  If any stain remains, apply Soft Scrub with a  damp sponge, work in a circular motion and rinse.  If stain remains, saturate a cotton ball with rubbing alcohol, blot the stain and rinse.

  • Cleaning Materials
    Whiteboard Cleaner Any Type
    All Purpose Cleaner
    Rubbing Alcohol
    Clorox Cleanup Spray Bottle

    Wipe all stains with a whiteboard cleaner according to the directions on the container.  If any stain remains, apply all purpose cleaner according to the directions on the container.  If the stain persists, saturate a cotton ball with rubbing alcohol, blot the remaining stain and rinse.  Or, you may use Clorox Clean-Up (spray bottle) according to the directions on the container.  You may also try the following:  Use another color dry-erase marker over the stain and wipe off while ink is still wet.  Sometimes, using another color marker over the color, lifts the under color when erased.

    ADDITIONAL NOTES:  If whiteboard surface is porcelain, the dry-erase markers should erase easily.  If the whiteboard surface is laminated, use the suggestion provided.  NOT RECOMMENDED:  Soft Scrub or any abrasive cleaner.

    Wipe all stains with a damp sponge. If any stain remains, apply Soft Scrub with a damp sponge, work in a circular motion and rinse. If stain persists saturate a cotton ball with alcohol and blot the stain and rinse.

    Soft Scrub Mild Abrasive Cleanser
    Sponge

    Wipe all stains with a damp sponge. If any stain remains, apply Soft Scrub with a damp sponge, work in a circular motion and rinse. If stain persists saturate a cotton ball with alcohol and blot the stain and rinse.
  • Cleaning Materials
    Liquid Dish Soap
    Soft Cloth or Sponge
    Toothpaste
    Warm Water
    Soft Scrub Mild Abrasive Cleanser

    Add liquid dish soap to water. Wash the stain in a circular motion using a soft cloth or sponge and rinse. If stain remains, repeat the procedure. Fresh marks are most easily removed. Residual stains on white walls and more durable surfaces may be removed with Soft Scrub, toothpaste or a mild abrasive cleanser. Apply cleanser with a soft cloth or sponge. Work the stain for sevral minutes. Rinse with water. Repeat if necessary.
