DIY Mother's Day Flower
If mothers were flowers, you'd pick her. Let mom know how special she is with a DIY Mother's Day flower gift (plus, it's an easy Mother's Day craft for kids!).
Supplies:
- Crayola Construction Paper
- Crayola Scissors
- Crayola Take Note Washable Gel Pens
- Crayola Washable Paint
- Craft Stick
- Photo of Child
- Pencil
- Crayola Bright Pop! Cardstock
- Crayola No-Run School Glue
- Crayola Paint Brush
- Clothespin
- Tools: Construction Paper, Glue, Paint
- Theme: Mother's Day, Spring
- Age: 4+, 6+, 8+, Tween+
Steps:
1 Sketch and cut out construction paper flower.
2 Use paper flower and trace on cardstock. Cut out.
3 Use gel pens to write Mother’s Day messages on construction paper petals.
4 Add glue to middle of construction paper flower.
5 Place cardstock flower on top to attach.
6 Glue photo of child to middle of cardstock flower.
7 Paint craft stick and clothespins to create stem and leaves. Dry 1–2 hours.
8 Glue craft stick to back of construction paper flower. Attach clothespins to craft stick.
9 Gently pull back cardstock petals to reveal surprise Mother’s Day messages!
