1 Unwrap 3–4 crayons, then use crayon sharpener to create shavings.

2 Lay piece of wax paper on protected surface. Evenly sprinkle shavings onto wax paper.

3 Place slightly larger piece of wax paper overtop. Seal edges with duct tape.

4 With the help of an adult, use hair dryer to melt shavings. Let cool 15 minutes.

5 Sketch 4 equal-sized hearts on wax paper. Cut out.

6 Draw festive message and shamrock stem on cardstock with markers.
