Metallic Markers on Granite

1. Using the abrasive side of a kitchen sponge, scrub the affected area with warm water and dish soap until no more ink can be removed.

2. Dry the surface thoroughly.

3. Apply granite cleaner, such as HOPE'S® Perfect Granite™ Cleaner, to the surface according to packaging directions. Scrub and wipe the area using paper towels.

4. If the stain remains, use a Mr. Clean® Magic Eraser™ to continue scrubbing the area, applying more granite cleaner and warm water as needed.

    1. Apply dish soap directly to the stain. Using warm water and a colorfast cloth or paper towel, rub the stain and rinse as needed, removing as much of the stain as possible.
    2. To treat any remaining stains, use a Marble Cleaner like Zep Granite and Marble Cleaner according to package directions.
    3. If staining remains, use a soft bristle brush with rubbing alcohol, gently scrubbing the stain, removing as much of the stain as possible.
    4. To remove any residual stains, use a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser according to package directions.

    Upholstery/Rug Shampoo

    Dampen a sponge with rubbing alcohol to use in a blotting motion over the stain. Change the sponge as needed. Apply upholstery/carpet shampoo according to the manufacturer’s direction. If stain remains, use Capture Spot & Soil remover per the manufacturer’s direction. If stain persists, rub a wet paper towel over Fels Naptha bar soap and apply the lather to the stain, let rest for 5 minutes. Wipe off with a paper towel or cloth and hot water. Repeat as needed.

    Fels Naptha Bar Soap

    Add liquid dish soap to warm water. Wash the surface with paper towels to remove as much stain as possible. Saturate a cotton ball with rubbing alcohol and blot the remaining stain. If stain persists, rub a wet paper towel over Fels Naptha bar soap and apply the lather to the stain, work in a circular motion. Rinse with water. Repeat as needed.

    Add liquid dish soap to warm water. Wash the surface with paper towels to remove as much stain as possible. Saturate a cotton ball with rubbing alcohol and blot the remaining stain. If stain persists, rub a wet paper towel over Fels Naptha bar soap and apply the lather to the stain, work in a circular motion. Rinse with water. Repeat as needed.

    Wash skin with bar soap(Fels Naphtha, Ivory or Lava) and warm water. Repeat as needed.
