Washable Dry Erase Crayons or Colored Pencils on Unwashable Materials

Use a paper towel to blot as much of the stain as possible. Use any of the cleaners, listed above, according to the directions on the container. Repeat as necessary.

    Sponge

    Remove stains from unwashable fabrics with a damp sponge or consult a professional dry cleaner.

    Gently scrape with a dull knife and blot with a paper towel, removing as much colored pencil as possible.  Be careful not to cause additional damage to the fabric.  Consult a professional dry cleaner.

    Warm Water

    Wipe off excess stain with a dry paper towel or soft cloth. Apply a solution of dish soap mixed with warm water and scrub with a brush in a circular motion. Allow the area to dry. Apply a solution of OxiClean powder mixed with warm water to the stain and brush in a circular motion and rinse. Repeat as necessary.

    Wipe all stains with a whiteboard cleaner according to the directions on the container. If any stain remains, apply all purpose cleaner according to the directions on the container. If the stain persists, saturate a cotton ball with rubbing alcohol; blot the remaining stain and rinse. Or, you may use Clorox Clean-Up Cleaner (spray bottle) according to the directions on the container.
